Currently, Dallas, Detroit and Washington are the only 3 NFC teams to have not appeared in the conference championship game since 1996.

The Cowboys are 7-3 and the Lions are 8-2. Both teams stand a semi-decent chance of getting to the conference title game, assuming they can get past the Eagles or Niners. The Commanders, at 4-7, certainly aren’t going to go.
