Seahawks seem to always be among the most penalized teams year after year. Pete preaches that he would rather be aggressive and take the penalties, but at some point you just have to rack it up to poor discipline through coaching.

So frustrating to have drive after drive stalled because of Pete’s philosophy. Then he always says that “we need to clean it up”, but it never is.

Anyone else completely fed up with this major fault of Pete? Too many mistakes

Totally agree with the comments that this is a feedback loop.

Refs are humans and nearly every call is subjective in some way. It’s well known that teams constantly chat to the officials and try to influence them.

It would be very easy for an opposing team to point out how we’re the most penalised team and keep asking the refs to look out for all our holds and PI etc because after all we’re the most penalised so clearly we should be flagged again this week…

Pete should resort back to the old college days. For every penalty a player gets, they do up downs, run laps, 100 yard sprints etc. there’s no reason to be 3rd and 22 because we shot ourselves in the foot.

That PI call on Witherspoon in the end zone was a horrible call. The receiver tripped on his own feet
