Bigsby got 9 touches today bringing his total to 35 on the season. After a horrendous start to the season so far, he got some good touches in garbage time including a 4th down conversion that will hopefully help boost his confidence and get him out of whatever funk he’s in.

D’Ernest Johnson got 7 touches bringing his total to 19 on the season and looked solid in several of them.

The more experience these guys get, the more they can hopefully be rotated in to the packages to give ETN some rest. I love ETN but he’s averaging 17.4 carries per game with extremely limited production from his backups which is going to keep wearing him down. If we can get one or both of these guys to give him some breathers, ETN can stay fresh longer and give us big runs late when we really need him.

After the 4th down 30+ yard catch and run by Johnson, i really want to see more of him on the field. Hes made the most of his runs but has also been great in the pass game. Hell during the SF game he was giving us life and then for whatever reason we stopped using him!

Tank just can’t fucking catch man. I’ve seen 3 interceptions off Tank’s hands which is insane because he probably has <10 targets on the season. Combine that with the weird fumble recovery against the colts in week 1 that he got stripped of, and that’s most of his bad non-running plays.

But in terms of vision Johnson is demonstrably better, and better in the passing game.
