We have 7 games left. If we lose both games to MIN, and then get a combination of 4 Lions wins/Vikings losses we finish tied and lose the tiebreaker. Even a split doesn’t necessarily guarantee it if we get exactly 4…
Split the Vikings (magic number reduced by 2) and beat only 1 division rival plus 1 other DET win/MIN loss and we lose the tiebreaker.
For those that love division clinching scenarios, the easiest path is as follows…
Beat GB, CHI, and beat MIN x1
That clinches at least an 11-6 record and means MIN can have a record no better than 11-6. In this scenario we would win the tiebreaker based on having a better record against common opponents. Any other split with MIN + 2 random wins and we lose the tiebreaker if we tie at 11-6.
I am still worried about Dobbs going off against us but, after seeing what we overcame yesterday, I feel like we can go toe to toe with any team in this league, bring it tf on
