I’m starting to rethink my opinion about LBJ as the GOAT.

I have Kareem 1st, MJ 2nd and LBJ 3rd mostly because Kareem and MJ led the league in important advanced stats for 10 seasons each while LeBron did it only for 5 seasons not to mention the titles (because it is a team game). I have Kareem ahead of MJ because he was a very good player longer and also the best college player ever, but while advanced stats will tell LBJ was the best player of the league for 5 years, he has been a top 10 player in the league for 20 years and nobody came close to it. At the end of his career Kareem was still a good player, but nowhere near the dominant force he was in his prime and the same can be said about the later MJ while the level LBJ still is able to play in season 21 is absolutely unmatched.

    That’s MY GOAT RIGHT THERE!!!

I love seeing this, but he’s god damn 39 years old.

He should not be carrying at this stage of his career.

Good win. But sad to see nobody else stepping up…

Shout out to one of the defenders of all time, Dillon Brooks. Held Lebron to just 73.6% shooting from the field, 40% from three. What a game by Brooks. Truly someone who existed at some point in the history of the NBA.

To be fair, Brooks went 6/11 from distance and no individual defender can stop Bron (or any other top tier scorer in this league).

A great defender can stop someone still finding themselves like AR (no offense to AR, as he’s a terrific role player and still HIM), but can’t do much against Luka, Bron, KD, Curry, Jokic, Tatum, Irving, etc.

He should have had 10+ assists. Jump shooters were throwing up bricks tonight.

Showed who the real king is. At almost 39 of age, he still dominates the game
