Just received and assembled my 13. When the laptop is on and/or charging, it’s showing an alternating blue/amber LED. is installed. I’ve installed Mint but I never saw a battery icon in the lower right. I tried a Tiny 10 install, same thing. I just confirmed the battery is not charging. Anything I can do while I wait for Framework Support?

@wheelchaircutie To deliver enough power to run a laptop, one of the fast charging standards needs to be negotiated.

To do that, the charger, the cable and the laptop all need to be right.

I find the Framework charger and cable work fine at home, a Ugreen Nexode 65W GaN works fine with a double-ended high power (PD) USB-C cable at work.

Everything else trickle charges overnight with the laptop off, but won’t charge while it’s turned on.

Just a wrong cable can prevent high power delivery.
