I know most players don’t know much about LoL lore, but really wanna hear from those who do.
Do you think such a show could be produced on Dota lore? Or dota lore is far less connected and more abstract?
There is nothing to compare… they are just different and both of them are equaly good. It’s just the dota2 show who sucks and is highly passable.
Arcane shows is betterly animated leading to some great emotional moment, a world building really strong that is tangible and feels real, the fight scene and the stakes are humanly graspable… easy for non player to get involve and have empathy.While dota… gets increasingly mired down in arcane and diffuse lore, yielding a befuddling and scattered narrative. The resulting hybrid creature doesn’t have an intimidating presence, and resembles nothing more than an extreme version of a Pokémon. I just feel like Valve surfed on Castlevania success and yet forgot to animate the fight as well.
