Apparently in 2017, Faker was at his peak but from all the clips I’ve seen he was just playing like galio and orianna(and some other mages). Huni and bang weren’t bad either. What made this version of Faker so good?
Some pro player turned analyst rightly said…being in top 4 doesnt mean that you have to be only clear of all your fundamentals but it also means that your superstar players being clutch as fk too…and faker wasnt faker because he plays all the champ or due to his longevity but bcoz of his clutch plays that change the entire game or series
Prime comparatively to all the other players. Overall players today are better and he isnt even the best player individually anymore
Peak Faker was probably in 2015 or 2016. Back then, the gap between him and other players was at its biggest. He was still pulling out crazy picks mid back then, while roaming all the time, and while being up in cs.
Faker was 1v9 on that team in Worlds. He had a sorry ass peanut and huni 😂 without him they were losing to MSF most likely.
