I’ll preface this by saying Hackett is terrible and I’m not at all opposed to firing Saleh (Rodgers was complimentary of Harbaugh on Pat McAfee, if somehow we could land him). Anyway, Rodgers retiring would set us back 5 years. Cleaning house means getting rid of Douglas and Saleh and company. That means, we have to bank on:

  1. Woody making the right GM and coaching hire, when he might not have the last few times

  2. Said GM getting the right QB. We likely aren’t going to be to get a Williams or Maye where we’re picking and the only vets available that are worth anything are Kirk, who like Rodgers is coming off an Achilles, and maybe Kyler Murray by trade. We could bring in a bridge QB on a one year deal so we can draft the guy in 2025, but then we’d be potentially wasting another season

For better or worse, Rodgers is the best option at QB in 2024. Might as well try to win with him, if we fall short, clean house. If we make the playoffs, just ride with what we have until he’s gone. Focus on Adams/Evans at WR, get the best OT available in the draft, and then draft a developmental QB in 3rd while bringing a veteran backup in case Rodgers gets hurt again
