So I definitely want to get a silicon skin for my steamdeck, and the dbrand skin didn’t seem too spectacular when compared to other, generic skins from amazon. Had anyone tried the dbrand skin, and perhaps other skins, and noticed any particular difference? Apparently putting the dbrand skin requires an adapter if you want to mount the steam deck to a dock, which sucks… but will installing any skin cause the steam deck to be unmountable? Thanks for your insight!

are you talking about a skin or a shell? becuase a skin would never block it from going into tbe dock but a shell can.

I have the killswitch , it’s great and has nice grip but is a bit bulky. And you need the adapter for the official dock so it fits. I would say it’s worth it if you don’t mind those two things.

I also ordered a clear soft tpu case from amazon that’s thinner and lighter so I can see the deck design. Not as high quality as dbrands but fits good and does its job.
