The next two games we play fifth and Seventh ranked teams in our conference.

We have our full time back and actually healthy for the first time in ages and all looking like they’re starting to gel.

And in risk of talking too soon we actually have a full bench Malachi has been NBA capable last five games and looking like his confidence is growing

Gt jr is a baller

Precious is back looking healthy,

Chris boucher my favorite bemch player in the league is just energy and heart

No we are not a top one or two team in the east but I swear are a four or five and we will have a much better indication after these next two games weather we should be looking to add a peice to go for a run at the deadline

I agree these two games will be important, and then there’s quite a few after that as well.

We’ve played half our games against the top 3 in the East and most of the rest have been against West teams.

We haven’t played a single game against the 4 through 10 seeds in the East this year. 8 out of 10 of our next games are against those teams. We’ll have a very good indication of what this team looks like by mid-December.

expecting this team to be top 4-5 in the east is asking too much.

they’re going to be similar to last year, a bubble playoff/play in team around the .500 line.

the difference is last year they played stars into the ground and tried their hardest to win and only got to .500. You saw what the hard ceiling in that roster was.

If they can develop young guys with playing time this year and STILL get the same record then you have some glimpse of internal growth.

I think we already know where we are as a team…we’re a .500 team…boarder line playin’, we’re not good but we’re not bad…we’re just meh…

We’re essentially the same team we were last year minus FVV + Schroder, Scottie got better, and Siakam got worse…we’re talented but dysfunctional and lacking depth at the PG position, and lacking shooting overall

We beat bad teams, we lose to good teams…that’s what we are

It’s fine if this is what you’re expecting, but we haven’t played these middle-tier teams yet to see how we do against them. The only ones we’ve played are Minnesota and Dallas and we beat them both.

Pascal didn’t get worse. He did have a slump early on, but the past 6 games he’s been as good as he was last year again. He’s playing in a new system that doesn’t feed him the ball as often, that doesn’t make him worse.

The teams we’ve been playing are the top 3 in the East. Are we going to be better than those teams? No. Does finishing 4-6 in the East mean we’re a meh .500 team? No. That’s what we’re shooting for right now, and beating teams like the Magic, Pacers, Cavs, Nets, Knicks and Hawks (who we play each of over the next month) is what we need to do to get there.

Is it really the worst thing in the world to be a .500 team with a future star?

We have valuable/tradeable players and own all our future 1sts, this team has a lot of avenues to go up from here imo.

Chris boucher my favorite bemch player in the league

I’m curious as to why he’s your favorite, is it just the hustle & energy he brings off the bench?

Yes his hustle and heart plus what a cool story he has had to fight so hard to get his shot made every bit of it count
