Play a high speed FPS with extremely high FPS (think 1000+ fps, with some games being played at 2k or more fps), and current 240, 280, 360hz monitors are not fast enough to eliminate the lack of smoothness. Ghosting is still plainly visible. These games will absolutely benefit from 500+hz and your eye will be able to tell.
