The reason i ask this is because Drake Maye and a couple other QBs coming out in this upcoming draft look great as dual threat QBs.

The game is trending toward QBs being dual threats more and more.

Ironically thats the QB the Titans have usually drafted through the years McNair,VY,Locker,Mariota, etc.

I like Levis from what i have seen only one thing bothers me is injuries.

He even missed crucial time this preseason due to an injury.

This might put me in the minority but this is what i would do.

I would take Drake Maye if he is available when we pick.

Otherwise if Maye is gone take a left tackle or wide receiver.

If Maye is available i would definitely pick him BUT i get the feeling they will stay with Levis.

I do believe that Levis could survive a losing streak unscathed and knowing what to improve upon in the offseason, and then improving both as an individual as well as a team with a better roster around him next year.

But I think this year is really a test of “Can he be the long term guy?” So far it looks like he can. Being down multiple touchdowns he still threw a couple of fun looking deep shots in garbage time and made a couple of plays that were good for team morale, and he statistically had a good game (don’t let vols or jags fan bias fool you).

The key is, if he can keep himself alive and healthy this season, improve upon decision making, improve on getting the guys out of the huddle and lined up, and not lose confidence, then I think he at that point proved he is worth building around. If he can’t stay healthy (my biggest concern), if he loses confidence (unlikely from what we’ve heard), or if he gets the yips/starts seeing ghosts (possible) then we should really look at drafting another QB.
