I was one of the people who highly anticipated the AVIA 880 relaunch when it was first announced.

The data of the original re-release had changed 3 or 4 times. Avia strangely enough had the 880s on a completely different site other than their official (I believe the 880s were on a site called “Avia is back!”)

I stopped paying attention after the radio silence from Avia while youtube videos and some of us on here were thinking WTF?

Long story short - I checked a little later in the month they actually released (without knowing the exact date) and I find them. They were in stock in every size still AND they were selling fo $275 dollars!

Now, I’ve seen the 830’s. And they aren’t horrible. But something about them made me suspect of their quality. Once I saw the price and then saw zero sizes were sold out - I was thinking that definitely isn’t a good sign - I remember I was thinking “yeah, not happening”.

Fast forward to today - I looked to see what resell (I AM NOT A RESELLER - I buy it - I wear it) I find them on multiple sites selling for UNDER $60!!! They have them on journeys of all places for $59 bucks with it stating they slashed it down from $119! I’ve never seen a price drop that stark. They can’t seem to get rid of these things fast enough.

I legit think that had to be one of the absolute dumbest marketing campaigns I’ve ever seen.

Every decision seemed to work against them and seemed counter intuitive.

If anyone did buy - I’d love to know what their thoughts are
