Yesterday when CJ had to exit for literally a single snap, the last 3 years came flooding back. Our season was over. How would we survive without him?

And here’s the thing. Guys, we have a quarterback. We have the guy. We have a guy that keeps us in every single game, and always gives us a chance to win every single game. Schaub didn’t do that, or at least not consistently. Theodore Jesus Ramirez Yates, the mighty mighty Bengal slayer, didn’t do that (unless we were playing the bengals). And freaking what’s his name didn’t do that, though he sure did pad his stats along the way. We’ve finally arrived. And as scary as it was to think the engine of our offense was gone, he wasn’t. He fought back, played through his own mistakes, and led us to victory. Houston, we don’t have a problem anymore.

You know my thing? After the 2nd INT I didn’t turn the game off and go about my day. I knew we had a chance to save it and come back from it. 3rd INT came around and I still stuck around knowing we could win it.

It’s been a different experience from the last 3 years for sure. I actually got some hope for this team

Didn’t even think of it like this. In past years that game went off as soon as we threw that last pick up 4. Best part was that I actually had trust in the defense. It’s not just CJ that has won us game (although the is a VERY large part of that), it’s the whole fucking team I love right now.
