This season has been pretty brutal thus far. Honestly doesn’t feel like this is a team that even won 4 games, especially the team that showed up on Sunday. All that said, I understand there is sentiment that people want to clean house asap. My thought process on that is to look holistically at this season framed within what the expectations were going into this. I personally picked us to go 5-12 this season (projecting us to be 4-7 at this point). Most of the projections I have seen weren’t too off from this, so in my opinion it doesn’t make sense to fire anyone (even JDR, but he definitely sucks) until the offseason. Getting a full year of consistent coaching to young players on both sides of the ball makes sense to me, and then of course blow it all up. I just am confused at the thought of firing Ron and JDR and everyone else if we are basically doing as badly as anticipated. Any thoughts?

Howell has shown his potential which has been nice. Otherwise, this is shaping up to be another wasted season. But Snyder is gone and the real work of cleaning up the shit stains he left behind can begin in earnest in the offseason.

I turned the game off after we fumbled somewhere at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. It’s always hard rooting for this team but I’ve never straight up not given a fuck as much as i currently don’t. It was like 11pm when I thought “oh yeah, Washington played today. Let me check the score.” I’m pretty much fully checked out at this point. Worse season since the one that landed us chase young.
