The basketball gods favored the Mavs down the stretch.
These are the type of losses that are so frustrating. Great effort just wayyyyyy too many offensive fouls
Luka just being Luka, but if the refs didn’t smoke whatever Mavs joint they’re smoking, we win this game.
Will say Simmons played better tonight. He’s not all the way back, but made progress.

You can’t be mad at Brooklyn. Only be in awe of Luka. We did everything we could.
So we lost two winnable games that weren’t closed out at the end. That’s a bummer.
But if you can’t find some REALLY POSITIVE developments in both games, you’re not paying attention.
This season will be measured more on what gets built than immediate W/L. From that perspective, I feel very good about the first two games.
Hate to be that guy but we got fucked by the refs some petty ass calls for them and nothing for us to be honest the last quarter. However, two tough losses. I still think we’re going to be okay. But what’s clearly out of this two games Cam T should be our focal point on offense. I don’t know if Bridges is not the guy or he’s tired but he loses his handle way too much and he’s not really that great passing the ball either.
Great offensive game from the team, though!
I hope we’ll lessen the offensive fouls and turnovers - these killed us even before Luka did.

Mavs fan here - really impressed by this nets team. I thought the 3s were going to stop falling in the second half, but it was pretty much unguardable.
Ben Simmons is only getting better. You guys are going to make some noise in the East once the chemistry clicks.
