I slowly came around. When Cecil and Sinclair got a chance to speak I seemed fine with it. Plus everyone deserves a second chance.

Isnt sinclair also college aged at the time of the initial experiments? I can see the frustration at that age being misdirected. This is the best outcome that could have happened. I also assume then that he repented for his past actions in some way. Hopefully by undoing any earlier reanimen. He really was right and he really did have to force the world to see he was right. I believe him when he says his work drove him to the edge of madness. But he has a healthy outlet now.

No I do not agree. Sure, Sinclair is helping the world now but he was torturing people for research. Also Cecil’s point about his idea not being recognized for it’s worth is false. Cecil was protecting the location of his lab in the comics so he wouldn’t be found. If Cecil was interested enough to protect Sinclair, he could have given him funding with humane practices.

Ultimately I do believe in rehabilitation, that being said I do think there’s a limit to medical science. Since Invincible is a comic book with far more fantastic ideas than advanced medicine, I’ll suspend my disbelief that they would have the means to cure sociopathy or psychopathy, but in the real world I am of the opinion that only someone irreparably broken and sick would be capable of doing what Sinclair did, and the only real solution is for them to be removed from the public for the safety of others and also themselves.
