Is there any random game over your years as a Lakers fan that you find yourself thinking about time to time? Not necessarily a game that had any major importance, just one that you have particularly good memories of.

For some reason mine is the game vs the mavericks in 2019 where Danny Green hit the game winner. I remember thinking after that win in particular that this team really had something and that it was gonna be a wild ride (little did I know lmao).

That game when in trash time Shannon brown jumped out the building for a block. Nobody knew what the fuck was going on. The refs blew the whistle just because humans can’t do that.

Interesting, Kobe was never my favorite player, but most of the memorable moments features him.

The 4th quarter comeback from double digits against Portland. For an unknown reason I never had any doubt that team would win the title.

The game Kobe hit a 3 with his left. The play was great, but the expression in Cuban’s face is unforgettable. https://youtu.be/PwdaKfEWtIs?si=xQmrm45PFz0bw3Lk

The most creative and beautiful in game dunk ever. When he did it I had to watch the play 400 times to understand how in the bleep hell he did it. It felt so spontaneous plastic and at the same time demolishing. https://youtu.be/wVPefGvl8A8?si=lmJ9rsT52ookJP0S

Kobe outscoring a fully stacked Dallas squad by himself in 3 quarters was the most impressive offensive game I’ve seen from any player including MJ and his own 81 pts.

It was clear since day 1 Kobe would be a superstar, but when he did this shit it becomes clear we had a generational talent. I love Mamba, but Frobe was a force of nature. He still had his fresh knees and his early crossovers and his bounciness where just crazy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7lQZpsGv6o

Kareem was (an still is) my favorite player, but Magic had the most memorable hook shot of the glorious Lakers history. I was a teen and I remember me and my friends repeating it to dead. Fuck Boston. https://youtu.be/R8-FO57_fvU?si=GkIjMuTxBkJ7yeVr

Kareem making a game-winning skyhook in Magic’s first NBA game, with Magic going nuts like they had just won the NBA championship.

Beating the Clippers in the last game of the 1992 regular season in overtime to make the playoffs as the No. 8 seed, instead of falling into the lottery for Shaq. The Rockets fell into the lottery instead and ended up drafting Horry. Every player gave maximum effort every moment that he was on the floor, to extend their season. They played the Blazers in the first round, losing the first two games in Portland. They won Game 3 at the Forum on the same night that the riots in L.A. started after the LAPD cops who beat Rodney King were acquitted. Game 4 was played in Las Vegas, which they lost.

Magic returning against the Warriors in 1996 and faking Sprewell off the floor.

Oh & Bynum dunking on Shaq (Christmas game?)… I was so fucking hyped 😤😤😤💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Felt like the Lakers were back & headed in the right direction.

Kobe hitting 3 to force OT then 3 to win in double OT vs Portland and Kobe stopper Ruben Patterson to win the pacific division

Van Exel hitting the turn around fading 3 to win the final Lakers - celtics game in the old garden (I was personally at that one). Met Nick the Quick years later and we had a nice chat about it… he was super nice & gracious.
