This is what I posted yesterday for those to understand the situation more:

“2015 Camry Hybrid XLE with 178931 miles on it. Have had the car for about 2 years. I do gig work like DoorDash and Instacart so I do drive a lot. Get oil changes when needed. The roads that I drive are mixed in terms of being good and bad. Some are pretty bumpy. Lately when I’m sitting idle, the car will switch to gas and it slightly frightens me. Sounds like my car is about to die violently although it gradually gets quieter. The car will rock a little bit too which causes the gear shift to shake a little bit like it’s about to switch to reverse. Has a loud vibrating noise but starts to weaken once it gets closer to switching to the battery. When im actually driving, the noise is kinda loud but not as much as when in idle.

I know I drive a lot so the car is bound to weaken eventually. I posted in the hybrid subreddit and somebody said it was likely a failed or bad engine mount which sounds right when I look up the symptoms.”

Took it to a shop today and this is what they sent me. This seem right to y’all?

That is extremely high for a motor mount.

Am I missing something here? Their listed recommendations only add up to $700. Where did they get those totals?

I may be out of touch with newer vehicles, but am I seeing over $1200 to install a set of 4 plugs. That seems absolutely insane. Autozone shows that should be about $80 for a set of plugs. Did someone mess up writing the ticket and do qty 4 when the ‘job’ should have included all 4. $300 seems more inline the job imo.
