I remember the first time I popped this baby into the N64… it was a borderline religious experience

I know OoT has seen a couple of remasters but I feel like this would have been the perfect time to release a remaster that didn’t just update the graphics and controls, but re-added the lost content that was stripped out of the original game due to size constraints.

They were limited by the technology of their time. Off the top of my head there was originally a playable Temple of Light dungeon, and you’d also see Zora’s Domain thawed after finishing the Water Temple. That and a lot of unused assets that were eventually repurposed for Majora’s Mask.

Random thought, but this coming right after the Half-Life 25th anniversary just made me realize how close to each other the two games were released. 1998 was an amazing year for gaming.

I still remember the first time I played Ocarina of Time. It was a magical experience that has only been repeated with Breath of the Wild.
