Meh, the pistons have been bad for like a decade.
Oh wow, I just looked and didn’t realize they were 2-12. Didn’t expect them to be that bad–though at least their point differential isn’t quite as bad as their record would suggest
Pistons have one of those GMs who refuse to sign shooters. That would fix lot of their and Cade’s problems
Cade got drafted to an awful situation but he hasn’t exactly lived up to that first overall pick hype. He’ll still get the bag tho despite being an inefficient chucker
Congratulations now “bad boy pistons” is a needlessly gendered phrase.
It’s not.
drafted 5, 5, 1, 7 and 15 in the last 5 drafts. gotta feel for pistons fans
The lottery really needs to go. I’m surprised there’s as much support for it as there is considering how blatant the league is with fixing it.
They should’ve been picking 1st, 3rd, 2nd, 5th, and 15th. They’ll probably tank the rest of the year but lose the 1st ovr to the Blazers or something cause the league has an obsession with rewarding bad teams for chasing off their stars
I think they need to change the lottery but not get ride of it
Here’s what I would do if I was in charge:
- A team can’t be in the lottery more than three years in a row
- You can trade your lottery pick in the 4th year and the team you trade the pick to can still be in the lottery but you can’t, so if you land the 1st overall pick in the 4th year, you get knocked down to the 16th pick OR you can trade the 1st overall pick to another team for playersThat would force a team like Detroit to get more creative in their team-building strategy, they would be forced to make trades, sign guys in free agency etc. in order to build out a proper roster
That’s my take
How do you have that many lottery picks and miss on every single one…? lol the entire front office should be fired…holt shit man lol
I feel for Detroit fans, that would be rough!
Troy Weaver and Monty Williams have made a ton of questionable decisions.
Every time another draft expert tells you that you don’t draft for fit, you just take the best available player and figure it out, show them a picture of the Pistons starting 5. I get it when it’s a generational talent but other than that, if there’s little to no gap take the best fit.
