Biased Spurs fan here adding to the countless threads. Every night we a ee Wemby get double and triple teamed. Chet is a beast but how would he/his numbers fare if he were on the Spurs as #1 offense option and carrying defensive load.
Would Wemby become more efficient on the Thunder? Would Wemby put up less or more scoring?
Chet is exactly where he should be and so is Wemby. Chet perfectly compliments our system that we’ve been building.
The Spurs should build and are trying to build a perfect system around Wemby. Wemby and the Spurs just need more time to do so.
Coach Mark has also had a full year of watching Chet and training Chet and planning for Chet that Pop hasn’t had with/for Wemby.
