Would like your opinion. If you were talking about cars, and someone started to talk about cars options. They like them, what mentions would be something of a hint that the person genuinely likes cars and overall good cars (or cars that are good at something) and aren’t the obvious following the mainstream things?

Have some ideas myself but would like to hear others opinions.

My circle is super hard core. If you have an AC Frua 428, any Monteverdi, or a Pegaso, you are next-level. One guy has three Fiat V-8s.

Either anything that’s heavily modified, or cars specifically made for enthusiasts. I.E. civic si, type R, Subaru WRX, STI, BRZ, Mitsubishi Evos, 5.0 Mustangs, SS Camaros, Hemi Challengers and chargers, pretty much anything that will catch your eye for good reason.

    Something that’s not mainstream.

If I see someone drive a new Kia Forte GT or Elantra N (as long as they aren’t riced out), I know they know enough about cars not to have just said “ew Kia” or “ew Hyundai” and they actually research all cars on the market (not just the ones kids buy for clout).

Also, somebody who drives a bone stock special edition car. Something like a GT350 or a ZR1. Whenever I see that at a car show, it’s always driven by someone who’s a “purist” and understands why it’s silly to modify a purpose built car like that.
