2017 911 s - Should it have a Sport exhaust button for the valves?

Hi all, looking at a 2017 911 C2s - owner has an aftermarket exhaust on it but he says there is NO button for open and close? is this normal. I confirmed he has the sport exhaust originally.

He said he just puts in Sport or Sport +(on the steearing wheel) to open the valves NO BUTTON for the valves. Is this right?
