Nikola Jokic as a third year player in the third game of the regular season:
- 35min 9-14FG (64.3fg%), 9reb, 5ast, 7 turnovers, 4 fouls, 29pts
- Including 2 turnovers and a technical foul in the 4th quarter of a close loss.
Scottie Barnes as a third year player in the second game of the regular season:
- 39min 9-14FG (64.3fg%), 10reb, 10ast, 7 turnovers, 5 fouls, 22pts
Note the field goals and turnovers are the same.
The late game mistakes suck but let’s give Scottie time to make mistakes now and grow and trust he’ll blossom into a really, really great player.

I’m not saying Scottie will be a Jokic level player but he needs to make these mistakes to grow. He’ll be alright
