I see alot of discussions about good produced Tracks. Most of them are not related to electronic music. Iam totaly into it and enjoy a well crafted dubstep track or pumping goa track or even harder than that.
I would like to hear your electronic titles that sound amazing on a good rig.
Some examples from me(not in any order, or the best of the genre. Just tracks i enjoy at the moment): Drum and Bass: Buunshin - i think i feel https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=ugnc1UNnUtU&si=w0dSIS22FHkwppvB
Dubstep: Enigma Dubz - Severed https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=qc7j0epFL0o&si=uPWDMr1SFgj-8npw
Synthwave: Starcadian - Satellites https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=xafJ_wtSEYU&si=3xfAqS4HkZZw0Pvr
Psytrance: Infected Mushroom - Dancing with Kadafi https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=dnXVIsMimHY&si=H-FfrloGUwlhsSLN
I’ve been enjoying Overmono’s latest, “Good Lies”. They are known for their club sound and live act.
More conventionally audiophile sounding, by Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan, is “The Nation’s Most Central Location”.
Both, released in May and December respectively, are two of Rough Trade’s Albums of the Year 2023.
Tipper - Relish The Trough. The whole album is great for testing stereo equipment.
Lemodie 15th Anniversary Edition by Ochre.
Psybient/psydub was the genre that got me into audio gear in the first place. Anything Simon posford (younger brother, shpongle) or Ott. Extremely trippy well produced music.
A lot of great suggestions so far. I would also like to add Fool the Detector by Venetian Snares. And also In Quod by Venetian Snares.
For audiophile electronic music I like the psybient genre.
Specifically Shpongle is #1 and Entheogenic is #2
Daft Punk is a great electronic duo but they don’t really require audiophile circumstances to hear everything.
