Finding diamonds in Minecraft feels good. Finding rich copper or silver deposits in Valheim feels good. But these are more secondary gameplay elements of these games. Are there any survival building games that has a higher focus on prospecting?

I don’t want safe. I want to build. Maybe the game I’m looking for is too niche? I want a survival building game with these elements - but where prospecting is a more core element.

I want that feeling the people during the gold rush had. But I also want there to be dangerous threats lurking around, and having to build cabins or camps to survive the elements.

Any games that comes closer than games like the above? Or am I looking for something too niche to exist yet?

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a nice building game. The survival mechanics are light instead there is an emphasis on building towns. Although it is more lead than sandbox following a story which brings you down different islands, themes, and npcs.
