My apartment complex just announced a crew is coming tomorrow to install an Eero WiFi mesh network based on Frontier 1 Gigabit “bulk” internet service. We currently have Spectrum Cable internet 300/10 mbps.

What is your experience with Frontier “bulk” internet? I think this is often called ‘multifamily’. Is it WiFi only, gigabit fiber to each apartment or shared over dozens of people? Do you think they will mandate a switch over to Frontier only, or will the residents have the choice between Spectrum cable and Frontier WiFi/fiber?

Thanks!

I just discovered that there is a new flush mount wall mounted fiber junction box of some kind in the bedroom, which seems promising because this is fiber direct into the unit, and seemingly not some shared WiFi hotel situation, so I’m cautiously optimistic.

Thanks, They installed duraline microduct conduit and whatever kind of fiber is inside of it. No visible equipment yet or access points, and no details about the service yet, so I’m cautiously optimistic. Frontier business fiber at the office has been good.
