I’ve seen a lot of talk about the glossy vs. etched glass, how the glossy gets you more of the OLED true black/vibrancy, while the etched glass takes some of that away but actually makes it able to be seen more without glare, but it also doesn’t entirely remove glare and instead washes it out… has anyone been talking much about using an anti-glare screen protector? I’ve not seen much actual discussion/comparison of it.
I’m sure it’s not as good, it’s probably the worst of the 3 options considering you’re covering this, one way or another, very expensive and precisely designed screen with a cheaper cover that’s trying to mimic/artificially produce an effect, but is it not basically as good? I got a glossy OLED, and looking at more images/videos that’re coming out comparing the two in brighter environments, it seems like the anti-glare might be the more every day usable option. Could I put a screen protector on it and get a decently comparable effect?
