Matt Devlin and Jack Armstrong are such a great duo, and I understand that they can’t cast EVERY game but whenever Alvin fills in, I have a hard time watching.

He constantly brings up his player history, while being very critical of the current roster almost in a old head talking down to the younger guys type of way.

Matt and Jack stay fairly neutral for both teams but of course they favor and compliment the raps (as they should), but they’re also exciting and electric.

Am I the only one who dislikes Alvin? What’s everyone’s consensus

Alvin’s in the wrong line of work. Sportsnet games are muted for me

There’s so many instances with Alvin where I’m watching and then I’m like wait what the fuck is he talking about

He’s not as bad as Drake. But he’s bad enough

If Malachi took until his 4th season to break out then maybe Alvin will too. Let’s get him working with Darko.

There’s a reason I watch the opposing teams broadcast most of the time.

While I agree Williams stinks. Devlin and Armstrong are inssnely biased and hilariously complain about 80% of the calls. Not sure what games you watch.

I like Alvin. He’s improved significantly this year and I find his analysis the most insightful of him, Leo, Jack and Matty - even though he’s the least confident of the three right now. I’d rather take messy and insightful than polished and and mindless. I expect him to improve year over year. Leo was brutal in the early days and got more condescending ever year.
