How many first round draft picks and current starters, would Justin Herbert be worth? Now before everyone starts throwing tomatoes at me, and also taking into account that the ownership and management of San Diego would never do it… players DO have more power now than ever now, and this guy is being completely wasted, generational talent. I know the cost would be so astronomical considering he is the only One on the roster that puts any asses in seats. But somehow, someway they manage to suck every year. With the salary cap, almost every team has flaws. And as stupid as it sounds, winning eight or nine games this year, it’s not going to get us anywhere close to a legitimate quarterback.
Oh, by the way, I’m also assuming that Kenny Pickett is not the answer and he sucks
Weird I had a random thought about all starting 32 qbs and was like Herbert needs better. He would kill it on our team I feel like. But then again it’s also the Steelers and they’d never stretch for something.
There are no complete teams in the NFL right now. There’s very good teams, good teams, decent teams and horrible teams… as nerve-racking as Steeler games are, they do somehow someway manage to make it interesting for the entire 60 Minutes for the most part.
It’s just disheartening to see wide-open receivers have the ball thrown 5 yards behind them or 10 yards past. I wanted Kenny to work out, given the salary cap situation that would’ve given us two or three years of space to sign free agents and make a legitimate run. But any legitimate success to be had in the NFL is driven by quarterback play, and it’s hard to be optimistic where we sit right now with Kenny. I don’t know, is there a reason to be optimistic, and or hopeful that he’s going to turn things aroundThe Chargers have lost 5 games by 3 points or less. Herbert is their guy and damn am I jealous of it.
I would absolutely love to see them some how get Herbert
They’d have to dismantle their defense to be able to afford it and they wouldn’t have the draft capital to rebuild.
So we’d basically watch as the Steelers become the Pittsburgh Chargers and Herbert will continue to be the world’s greatest loser.
