Riot has said they’re removing pinging abilites because it’s toxic to see someone spam flash or ult or something after someone doesn’t use it well. But as someone that likes to play champs with high impact ults like Annie and Malphite. Where the team knowing they have the ult available or signalling that they’re going to use the ult can help them play better together why not disable players from pinging your abilites but allow them to see when you ping them yourself?

So if I was playing malphite supporting jinx I can’t ping their switcheroo because they’re being stupid and keeping it on rocket 24/7 but they will see if I ping that my ult is up.
