….Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama

How would you feel about that? I understand he’s not even a top 5 pick right now, but he is absolutely getting better every week and I don’t think its crazy to think he would be one of the top 2 QBs taken off the board first in that draft. He is making plays that Kenny Pickett just is incapable of (Stepping up in the pocket, staying cool when the pocket collapses, using his legs to pick up chunks of yards, finding the open receiver, etc.) Let’s say he beats Georgia and wins the championship this year and goes on to look even better next year. Mind you he is putting up Jalen Hurts numbers without Devonta Smith, Jerry Jeudy, Jameson Williams, etc. Would you be excited for him then?

Lets also be real that there’s no shot at a franchise qb next year. The best move for this franchise would be to draft OL needs and to bring in a new OC. Odds are looking that Kenny is still not gonna be our guy after these changes and we fall to a bottom 5 record. With that being said, I think we have to take a QB in 2025 and I think Jalen Milroe has the intangibles to bring us to the promised land.
