OG’s rookie scale deal enters it’s player option year this offseason and it seems like he’s going to be walking himself to the restricted market.
I personally think it’s a no-brainer to throw a big sheet at a player with the exact toolkit that we need for this team.
Assuming we move Bojan at some point, a team of Cade/Ivey/OG/Ausar/Duren is a phenomenally gifted defensive team with ✨ offensive upside ✨
If we allow ourselves an indulgence and presume that Cade and Ivey’s shooting numbers lift, and OG continues to shoot as he has his whole career, that could be a serious unit.
Like anyone would want to come here
Never played a full season, always hurt. I pass. Also, Ivey and Cade aren’t gifted defensively, nor offensively at this point.
They need to, this team desperately needs some genuine nba talent that has experience. Can’t just keep throwing a bunch of 22 year olds out there and expect to compete.
Yes, I would throw a max at him. He’s young enough to fit with our timeline and core. He provides elite perimeter defense and near 40% 3 point shooter. He’s athletic, and probably has some untapped offensive potential. Absolutely.
We need to start trying to win games.
Anunoby was drafted in 2017. He’s in his seventh season and on his second contract. He’ll be a UFA this summer if he turns down his option.
He’s an intriguing possibility, albeit a somewhat injury-prone one. I’m not sure what the Pistons could do to distinguish themselves from other suitors, though.
There’s no one else worth it. Throw him a bag. Still young fits our system and fits troy going after players who get hurt
For sure!! We need more athletes who can’t shoot.
Career 37.5% 3 point shooter, career 579% TS
You wrong homie
Not my money, sure.
Troy will trade for Ben Simmons expiring contract so this is a moot discussion
