Never thought Id be saying this but theyre not helping him at all. No good point guard, no easy shots. All im saying is, if he was in Charlotte or Houston right now, hed be runaway Roty like Chet. Even Detroit would be better.

Sochan should be in jail. If it weren’t for him Wemby would be shooting 50/40/90 right now

Spurs are getting their future PG in next year’s draft. Just be patient.

I will say it on every thread till someone alerts the Spurs organization… I have no idea why a team that desperately needs a passer isn’t playing Devonte’ Graham. His playmaking was his best attribute in Charlotte, and that’s with actual dogshit at center. Dude threw passes even Bismack Biyombo could regularly catch.

They’re allowing him to find himself on the court, if anything, having more difficult shots and diverse situations is how he can grow as a player. Look at Bam for example, the Heat haven’t had a dynamic PG in years lol, he went from averaging 6ppg to 22ppg

One year won’t significantly matter to his development. After this year they will be in position to draft an elite point guard to pair Wemby with

Also the Spurs are missing Devin Vassell. He won’t change them into a playoff team or anything but he’s the only player on the team that can reliably create his own shot and it’s why the Spurs offense looks so bad

It’s not just on the spurs. Wemby looked so timid. He’s been low key chucking for the past couple weeks now. But todays game, he was supposed to abuse the Clippers small lineups and just settled for 3’s or stood in the corner like jj reddick or something.

Are you telling me you are better than the legendary Coach Pop?

    Lol.

Chill bro. If you are watching the games, At the start of the season they didn’t make plays for Wemby. They run plays for Vassell and Keldon.

Then now they are letting find his shots. Did you see those bad shot selections? Do you think Pop is happy with those shots? Of course not. But did you see him scolded or shouted at him for those bad shots? No. Pop is known to scold players for bad shot selections. He is not scolding him because he is letting him play.

I think they are doing great. They are slowly teaching to get accustomed to the NBA. They are not forcing him.

They know they can spam Wemby’s inside game and he can crash the offensive boards but they are not forcing him to do those because they want to discover other things he can do. And they let him do it. I bet the instructions to him is to just play the game.

Wemby has the most excuses for any player ever. Every single fault is not his fault.

Great players become great out of shitty situations. Kobe was benched his rookie year. Lebron was on the shittiest cavs team of all team. KD’s 2nd best player was Nick Collison. The warriors basically prioritized Montae Ellis over Steph.

If wemby needs to be in a perfect situation to look good… maybe he’s not that good .
