How does the superbowl champion get such an easy schedule? I thought they purposely gave the top team the hardest schedule?
Literally only 3 (used to be 2 in the 16 game format) of a teams games are determined by their performance. The other 14 are all predetermined on a cycle, even whether or not they’re home or away. I could tell you 14 of the ravens regular season opponents in 2030.
Tbh with how the chiefs have been playing on offence I could see them having losses to the raiders who are playing much better, bills and bengals

Chiefs receivers are bad enough at the moment that any game could be a trap game tbh. I’m not betting against them in any of these games but I’m not betting on them to run the table either.
even if both teams win out chiefs would retain the #1. they have a very favorable schedule, personally id prefer no bye week.
If we both win out, they have the better AFC record and get the 1 seed over us
Eh, don’t assume those Raiders games will be easy for the Chiefs. Divisional game, and they are always seems to play the Chiefs hard. And now with their new coach, I’m certain they’re going to be a handful for the Chiefs
