Greetings Summoners!

With every new patch Riot introduces to balance out champions and items there are some unforeseen issues that creep up and cause disruption during gameplay. We have noticed that these issues which eventually get fixed clutter up the subreddit immediately following the patch.

We want to avoid this by having a single Megathread which will be posted after every patch so that you guys can report the various issues in one place. This allows Riot to easily keep track of the bugs by providing a central hub and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered.

Note only bugs caused by the 13.23 Patch should be reported below.

Prerequisites to be noted before reporting a bug


  1. A bug will ideally be accompanied with a screenshot or a video. This provides credibility to your report.
  2. Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Rioters recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it.
  3. The bug must have been caused by the latest patch.

Format when reporting a bug: When reporting a bug, please provide as much information as you can about your computer.

Server: The server you encountered the bug (NA, EUW, EUNE, TR, RU, BR, LAS, LAN etc)

Type of Bug: Client Bug, In Game Bug etc

Description: Describe what was the bug that occurred.

Video / Screenshot: Insert screenshot (F12 in game) or Video of the bug occurring.

Steps to reproduce: Provide the steps necessary if someone else had to reproduce the bug.

Expected result: What should have been the result when you follow the steps mentioned above.

Observed result: What was the result you obtained when you followed the steps mentioned above?

Reproduction rate: If you try to recreate the bug how successful are you in causing it to occur? (1/10: Occurs once every 10 tries, 5/10: Occurs 5 times out of 10, 10/10: Happens every single time)

System specs: Processor, Video card, Ram, HDD/SSD, everything you can provide, even drivers.


Example Bug:

• Server: EUW

• Type of Bug: In-Game Bug etc

• Description: Zed’s R (Death Mark) does not apply secondary damage

• Insert Video / Screenshot of the incident

• Reproduction rate: 2/10 (happened 2 out of 10 times)

• Steps to reproduce:

Launch a game after selecting Zed as your champion. Attempt to use Death Mark. Observe the result.

• Expected result: The damage should apply after a short delay, amplified by damage dealt during the effect.

• Observed result: The damage will not apply properly.

• System Specs: Intel i5 Processor, Windows 7, Nvidia Graphics card (insert model number) etc.

    Server: PH
    Type of bug: reconnect loop
    Description: reconnect button loop after champ select
    Video: don’t know how to screen record in linux
    Reproduction rate: 100%. 1 time in a blind pick match and 5 times in a custom game
    Steps to reproduce: enter champ select
    Expected result: match loads and I play the game
    Observed result: match doesn’t load and client reconnect loops
    System specs: Intel i3-10100f, 1x16 2666mhz HyperX Fury, GTX 1050 Ti, Nobara 38, using Lutris to run game.

    Server: NA

    Type of Bug: Client Bug

    Description: I can’t queue up

    Steps to reproduce: I try to start looking for a game in ANY MODE (ranked, draft, ARAM, TFT, etc.)

    Expected result: It starts queue and has a rolling timer to show how long I’ve been in queue

    Observed result: The button is no longer green but no rolling timer. Eventually I get “You have declined game requests too many times” and it kicks me out (as if I AM in queue, but I can’t see it)

    Reproduction rate: 100%

    System specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5800x, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060TI

    • Type of Bug: In-game bug
    • Description: Briar’s spells can be seen in fog of war always

    • Steps to reproduce: Get into any game as two players (one red one blue), have Briar cast their spells in the jungle (use W), see the spell in fog of war
    • Expected result: Spells shouldn’t be visible in teh fog of war
    • Observed result: Spells are visible in the fog of war
    • Reproduction rate: 100%
    • System specs: Irrelevant

    This is not a replay bug, by the way, the opponent team confirmed they could always see where I was based on my spells

      I tried to replicate this in a custom game today and it didn’t happen, but it DOES happen in normal/ranked games. Example 1 and one I’m currently spectating (will edit post with link)

        Happened again. Briar is unplayable if the enemy team is aware of this bug, champion should be disabled until fixed

    Description: Terrible lag at the start of game, in both TFT and regular League

    Steps to reproduce: Play a game

    Expected result: Game performance does not lag in the beginning

    Observed result: Game performance terrible in beginning, feels like 10 fps at most before returning to normal after a few seconds. I’m not even sure if this is a bug but I only noticed it after the recent patch.

    Reproduction rate: 75%?

    System specs: Windows 11 - 7900XTX GPU - 7700X CPU

    • Type of Bug: HOME not loading, retry doesn’t work
    • Description: No matter how much I click Retry. It just says “We weren’t able to load this page. If your Internet connection is otherwise ok, wait a few minutes and try again.”

    • Description: Couldn’t select my roles but the context menu is still open

    Type of Bug: In-game, ability marker bug.

    Description: Ability hits much farther out than the indicator, and effects show.

    Steps to reproduce: Play talon, flip over wall, and use ult.

    Expected result: the range of the ult should be consistent with description, and range indicators, AND effects…

    Observed result: Range of ult literally changes, after re-activation.

    System specs: N/A

    - **Server:** EUW

    - **Type of Bug:** Patch Issue loop

    - **Description:** not beeing able to join games consistently. whenever i exit the champion selection, it sends me into a patch loop and never let me into a game, except in maybe less then 5 % of trys

    - **Steps to reproduce:** leaving the champion selection (pick & bann over )to enter a game

    - **Expected result:** playing the actual game

    - **Observed result:** stuck in a patching loop until i get kicked out

    Is there a fix to this runes issue. Often now when i go to make runes and try saving it will say “couldnt save runes”. Im not doing this with 1 sec left in select or anything. Never used to have this issue and its doing it constantly now. My internet is good as well. Thx

    For those who can’t load into game because of the loop,

    Go into your Riot Games/League of Legends folder, and make sure LeagueClient.exe, LeagueClientUx.exe, LeagueClientUXRender.exe, and RiotClientServices.exe all have the “Run this program as an administrator” option on in the Properties of each file.

    So far I have had success consistently in launching the game for Practice Tool, but have yet to try a normal game.

    Let me know if it works for you.
