He’s bad at defense and can’t shoot. Not interesting at all. It’s expected at this point.

He’s a bust and we should probably trade him for a first round pick if we could.

I trust in Ime Udoka, he’s the only star-level talent that we have on this team.

I feel as if a lot of people are heavily invested in our record, and this is understandable because why wouldn’t you want the team to be successful? But learning how to play better as a team doesn’t always lead to the favorable outcome. It just changes how you win and why you win.

We’re not winning games simply by outscoring the opponents anymore. Our wins aren’t contingent on 2 players going bonkers offensively – scoring 30+ points. We’re very competitive even when key players have terrible scoring nights. When other teams struggle like this, they get beaten by 15+ points.

There’s a certain tenacity or “dawg” that’s growing in this team. We’re much more resilient than we’ve been in previous years, and when the whole of our young core finds themselves in this offense, we’ll be much better for it.

It’s a long season, and the growing pains aren’t going to be nice.
