to be very fair
I am in a much much better mood for pistons today than yesterday
I definitely got my hopes up after the first few games. Can only blame myself. That team may still be waiting to breakout again, but it may already be too late.
The depressing part for me is the team seems to be worse than last year- and for awhile they seemed to be getting worse with each successive game. Glad the team showed life against the defending champs, instead of the bloated corpse lately, but that scoring drought to end the game was brutal (as was the lineup).
I’m very close to I don’t care territory, which is very hard for me to come back from. I haven’t felt like this since the 2019 Tigers who went 47-114, but they didn’t have all this young hyped up talent. I had more fun watching 2020 squad be competitive each night with hopes of the future rather than watching the fruits of our labor be no better than we were at the start of the rebuild. If you can’t at least get me to pay attention to a team that has Cade, Ivey, and Ausar play, that’s a major failure on the organization.
