Getting a black screen with AnyViewer remote software? (headless client pc)

I have been using AnyDesk for a while, but it requires an active monitor on the the client PC i.e. no headless connection.

So I gave AnyViewer a go, and while it initially works without an active monitor, it still gives me a black screen if I reboot the client PC. Anyone know a solution to this?
