Hello everyone. I’m currently an expat in France with a son who lives here. He lives in a small village and I’ve already done 3 attempts to try and stay here, but since im separated they treat a visa like a carrot on a stick. It’s really hard to find work in a small village and I’m not able to find a place to live, so I will have to go back to America.

I’m looking to do school for something like computer science, so I can crunch out a bachelor’s and that way I can find a remote job so I can retry with a job that I won’t have to depend on a small village to provide and can find a place easier. Ideally, if I could just get certs to get the minimum amount of time for remote work but willing to do bachelor’s in an accelerated program as well. I just don’t know how the remote work system works and reaching out here to see how the expats do it. Thanks!
