Hey, I had dual boot Linux and tried out Witcher 3 on fedora and it worked great, using the same save that I’ve always used on my windows system and my steam deck although with some latency. I had my game saved to the cloud and never touched that setting. I had to reinstall Fedora due to some dual boot issues and now it’s up and running, I reinstalled Witcher to see it boots but it’s missing a continue game option and the game properties state 0mb saved on the cloud.

My question was just wondering where would that save be found on my drive if it is there? If not possible I’d understand it’s just a shame losing so much progress 😅

Maybe some tips on how to prevent this from happening would be great as well.

FIXED: I gave up and clicked new game and suddenly the game updated and the option to continue popped up, I’m not questioning what why or how but I’m grateful

UPDATE: I believe it may have been some sort of conflict between steam and gog/redlauncher saves as I ram the game on my Linux pc without it, therefore missing the save and logged in with it on my steam deck and problem solved

Gonna leave this here in case anyone runs into a similar issue :)
