They are an Eastern conference team that seems to be at our tier right now. Their team has its own mix of promising talent with its own questions about fit. I feel like one of the two teams will look back at this game and say “This is when we started to put it together” and the other will say “This is when we knew it wasn’t going to work.”

Orlando is the #1 ranked defence in the league right now, and the Raptors are basically the worst offence in the league. Will be a good test - the offence looks like it’s STARTING to come around a bit between the Boston and Detroit games, but who can tell with Detroit.

They don’t need to be a top 10 offence, but if they can eke up to a top 18 offence this is likely a play-in team/bubble playoff.

It’ll be good. If they lose it’ll shut up all the idiots who don’t want to sell and maybe force MLSE to change course

If they win they’ll double down on the roster and we’ll probably have another 3 years of playin games

Hyperbolic to be sure but it is a pivotal game

Pacers and Orlando are for the first time in a while not absolute garbage time games but also not out of reach. Totally warranted to be exited imo.
