Tim Boyle has proven that he sucks, Zach is not the guy, so why bring in Semien if you’re not gonna play him? He has started in the past, and is probably better than both of our other QBs, so why not ride with him?

    My assumption is that it’s because he’s a Hackett guy, knows the offense, and has been with them since trading camp. For these reasons, he deserves a shot. When he shows he can’t hack it (pun intended), they’ll go with Siemian.

    Semien was elevated to #2 which means if Boyle doesn’t look good they will switch to Semien early… Boyle didn’t look that bad in pre season, but at this point it doesn’t matter who starts because all eyes are on next year…

    They will play both. Boyle may be the bigger unknown of the two, so rhey perhqps want to see where he’s at or maybe he’ll be more familiar with the plabook or such. Or it could be a stupid reason. Who knows.

    However, we will see both
