A friend of mine told me that Intel laptops have a performance degradation issue. The overall speed and responsiveness decrease considerably over time. Did anyone here experience such an effect?

As others,say… it’s prolly due to temps increasing inside and throttling as a result.
I only ever took a laptop apart ONCE … as it took hours and was a total nightmare… but the amount of gunge around the fan/heat sink was disgusting.
