    Jets QB Vinny Testaverde threw for 3,256 yards, 29 touchdowns, and only 7 interceptions in 421 pass attempts that season but couldn’t hit a pastrami sandwich on a Christmas tree from 20 feet away. Actor Jay Thomas came on to show Vinny up.

    Vinny never really recovered after that, going 31-56, with 0 TDs and 2 Interceptions as the Jets gave up 23 unanswered second half points in the last AFC title game the Jets would see until 2009.
