Win a Super Bowl with Rodgers and he walks off in the sunset which secures Hackett’s job for another 5 years just to relive this inept offense
OR
Make the playoffs with Rodgers and fall short. Rodgers retires and we move on from Hackett.
Without a doubt I’d choose winning a super bowl. The Jets have been a disappointment my entire life. What’s 10 more years gonna do?
Unpopular take, but I’d rather watch quality football than to win one fluke superbowl and go back to shit for a decade.
Having a HoF QB who spent 95% of his career with another team come over and carry us to a SB before retiring doesn’t feel like a Jets achievement.
Give me a team that can compete for 5+ years with a chance at a SB each season. Otherwise, it doesn’t mean anything.
I would have Hackett as OC for the rest of my life if it meant a Super Bowl win
I’ll take the Super Bowl and 10 straight winless seasons over anything not involving a Super Bowl.
