I know this is what you’ll experience in many video games in general, so i ain’t in tears. I want to say that many players in this game have the mindset of a baby. I can take an L, I may have a bad game, I can be outplayed by a better player, but I cannot play with these people.
I be in my chat like “Kill the Mercy” and I am not hating the team, but I’m more like “The Mercy is making it hard to push because of the healing they’re doing to their Tank who is pushing us back.” I can’t advance. All these dudes say is “you died every 3 seconds” when I never charged in and I was with my team. I was actually not dying so quick. How do some of these people operate in the real world taking things so personal like this? If you’re working on a team in REAL LIFE learn how to communicate and take feedback. Evaluate the damn situation. Frankly, I didn’t hate myself and if anything I wanted to tell the enemy team they did a great job because they did what they were supposed to do. If the enemy is pissing me off I am not hating on em, they’re pissing me off because they’re making it hard for me, but at the same time I love that and I enjoy being challenged.
That’s another thing, some of y’all suck and blame your team for why you suck. None of us are perfect. I prefer to play with friends because atleast if they suck I can help them grow as players and make the experience enjoyable for them. But many of you guys suck and completely disregard your teammates blaming them for decisions that are reasonable from their POV (I watch replays and understand my teammates did the best they could and I would evaluate how could have I done better as a player). In comms saying players suck to point the finger because you’re not getting your way.
I’m not a “stat guy”, but I use the stats as information, but not to completely judge performance. I checked (during a game) and saw their Mercy died once. I KILLED THE MERCY AND GAVE THEM THEIR ONLY DEATH. Look, Enemy Mercy did a good job and I will endorse them for being a good support.
Anyway, some of y’all are toxic, some of y’all need to stop playing video games and some of y’all need to grow tf up. Learn some damn interpersonal skills. I played Knockout City with a friend (a girl) who was always communicating with me and even hold folks accountable, but she wasn’t disrespectful just really engaged and wanted to win. She was really fun to play with. I was considered the best player, but I was cooperative with anyone I played with even Newbies because you leave that ego shit at the door. You talk to me and I’m receptive, I hear you. End of the day, it’s a video game and we’re here to have fun.
Team games are supposed to be fun like that. Working together to achieve a common goal. I play with randos and I’m like “Man, y’all suck” Like, hearing some of these people talk I’m like “I am not having fun.”
It’s like playing with babies
Honestly you said what you said. And it wasn’t NOTHING but the truth.
