I’m pretty sure it’s possible, but just want to make sure: I’ve got a '78 4-speed case and I’d like to use it with a 62 panhead, kick only. Can I use a 36-64 short mainshaft in that later tranny case? The rest of the internals are mostly the same as far as I can tell. Any and all thoughts are appreciated.
